Matting:
Matting occurs when dead hair gets tangled in the growing hair. Left untreated tangles turn into mats and mats can turn into hard pelts. Mat removal is an extremely painful process for your cat’s delicate skin. In extreme cases, the skin can become twisted up in the mat, then an additional fee is incurred.These are one time fees. Ringworm:
If ringworm is suspected The Dapper Cat will be unable to service your home and a fee upwards of $250 will incure. Ringworm is highly transferable and spores can survive in the home for up to 2 years.
No Show Fee $80
Because we are offer mobile grooming services, if we show up for a scheduled appointment and there is not an adult present for the grooming session, we are unable to fill that time slot with another appointment. After a no show has occurred, all appointments must be paid in advance in addition to the $80 no show fee. No exceptions.
Cancellation Fee $45:
The Dapper Cat requires a 48 hour notice for cancellations or rescheduled appointments. If a cancellation occurs under the 48 hours the $65 charge, per cat, will be applied. More than two cancellations or reschedules will require a prepaid, non-refundable deposit of $80 prior to scheduling your following appointment.
Aggressive Cat Fee $30
All owners will be advised ahead of time if the aggressive cat surcharge will be added to the price of a groom. Typically this does not occur during the first groom. Owner will be informed if similar behavior is experience during the next groom, the surcharge will apply. However, there are extreme cases in which the surcharge will apply on the first groom.
